Bristol City Timber (BCT) is a local family business specialising in supplying timber and related products to the building trade and general public. We have been established for nearly 25 years trading from our warehouse in Ashton Vale.

Our family has a long tradition in the timber business, the current managing director (Rod David) is the fourth generation of timber merchants in the David family. We pride ourselves on delivering quality goods and advice at a competitive price.

Bristol City Timber is the trading name of Bristol Channel Timber Supplies Limited.

Environmental Policy

We at BCT recognise that we have a duty to base our operations on sustainable forestry practices. This benefits both the environment and the long-term prospects of the industry within which we operate.

We judge our suppliers by the same standards and make all attempts to deal only with companies that have similar environmental standards.

We currently hold both FSC and PEFC chain of custody certification, which means we (and our customers) can trace our products to sustainable sources.

90% of our products are softwood based, correctly managed these are completely renewable and can actually help to reduce the levels of greenhouse gasses causing global warming.
